Uninhibited

A little about this painting

Unhibited is a progressive painting that required several opportunities to finish. I started the project from a simple boat but wanted to represent life as a journey that needs to have freedom but also with the knowledge of anchors or boundaries or stability. I did not fully complete this painting until the third show I took it to, and the finish was to add the tether line with slack to represent the anchor that is not restrictive. I could have sold it many times, but it just was not complete which is a full reflection of the message the painting means to me. It may speak differently for you and that’s perfectly fine.
