What size of prints do you offer?
Normal print sizes are:
5″ x 7″
8″ x 10″
11″ x 14″
18″ x 24″
What do prints cost?
Print normally runs at:
$25 – 5″ x 7″ includes a frame mat
$35 – 8″ x 10″ includes a frame mat
$60 – 11″ x 14″
$80 – 18″ x 24″
What is gallery wrapped?
A gallery wrap canvas print, the canvas material wraps around thick, durable wooden stretcher bars. Because the canvas material folds tightly around the canvas, you can’t see the staples or fasteners used to secure the stretched canvas.
This means you don’t need a frame if you don’t want one. I will also wrap the painting around the sides unless you want to keep it white or a flat color of your choice.
What is a frame mat?
A mat (or matte) is an extra card that acts as a border of white space around the painting, creating a layer of space between the image and frame. The space allows fine art and photos to “breathe” in a frame and protects them by creating separation with the glass.
Do you do painting commissions?
Yes, I paint from photos as a reference, and paint almost everything from people, pets, landscapes, and architecture.
Remember I can also add to apainting by putting in more sky for example that isn’t in the original phot.
What media do you paint in?
Mostly I paint in acrylic, but often do oil and watercolor, it just depends on the subject matter and what the client would like.
Most commissions are in oil unless you don’t oil.
How much is a commission likely to cost?
It all depends on the subject, the media, the time, and the size of the painting, but most commissions start at around $125. Contact me for an exact quote.
